Wow! Great session. Scott is the true Sultan of Swing. End of story.
Scott, it's Raygun. Great to get the lessie in on my promo tour of So Cal! And btw thanks for closing off the two adjoining mats so I could warm up, Raygun style!!
Hey Scott this is Torgo. I can't believe the Kooch didn't finish the last hole. That was weird.
Hi Scott!! Amrber and me (its me!💕Tiff lol!!!!) bacj in Sannedegio at holetel bar agan we r"w doing vokka, staraite up! thaanknk you!!! Since 10 amm whebn bar opended we flashd 💋bartrdenr 🍑Scortt Did sou see the Koohc stop goglfng on he last golg hole?? wow hes tallr thaj u thnik! you nooo whaathe say!! Amebr ? shutup. ? excextp thw spiddel when he talkes hees cuet!! GGooooooo Widldcat!!ss@💋🧜♀️🐥🦋🧜♀️
Hi Scott it's Eddie!! Wow did you see the Kooch last week when he teed off on the last hole and didn't finish! And the guys in his group finished, but he said I'll finish Monday. And then got to move his ball. Did you see that? I didn't know you could do that! Anyway we'll talk about that when I come in to get more pointers. And tell the guys in the pro shop hi from Eddie!
Oh, my. Scott, pardon the deluge to follow, but I'm compelled to comment on the tribulations of poor Matthew ("Kooch!! Kooch!!") Kuchar! My heavens, what storms some among us must endure! As you know, Brad and I find "the Kooch" a treasure, and we both give him our full-throated endorsement, oh my! He's a delightful, if lanky cherub who happens to be a wonderous golfer! And people talk about Tiger's smile - but when it comes to a purely dental aesthetic, I'm sorry. .I'll take a wholesome, beaming "Kooch" on my Wheaties box! Don't you just want to hug his childhood orthodontist for that bold positioning? And Brad tells me it's well known that his fellow tour golf players, and the entire caddy community - including the fill-in caddy community - have nothing but respect for him. So, shouldn't we do the same, I ask you?? For the life of me, I cannot understand all the negativity. But Scott, do rejoice as there is hope: Don't you know I just finished reading an entire comment section that proposed inducting our "Kooch" into something called "Club Delta Bravo"? To be honest I don't know what that is, but it sounds like a wonderful honor! Let us all just pray he can find some solace in that. Well, peace, love, and strength, Matthew. And prayers for our dear Dr. Adendayo!
Oh Scott as a reminder to you and your readers, of our dear Dr Adendayo's misadventure and the ongoing request of space-centered rescue funds! Our country's most heroic cosmonaut yet remains to be in dark, cold, mysterious and lonely orbit, as the very craft in which he finds un-powered confinement is one with constructive origins of notoriety, namely of the American famous flying company, Bo-ing, in design as well! I hesitate to lend specificity in attribution of company name, as legal foundational prohibitions may rapidly originate and descend forthwith! As per always my thanks to you for your readership - and your most abundant and fruit-bearing teachings!
Hey, Scott, Kuch here. Thanks for lessons last winter. Just got off the course to avoid the Carolina howler monkeys that I'm told come out around 7 or so. No worries as I'll finish my round Monday. Got bit by one my last year at GTech and went straight into anaphylactic shock. I ballooned up to the point where I had to delay my Spanish final and almost missed my graduation. I say almost, as Mr. Beavers my Spanish teacher gave me a "P" if I promised to re-take it in the fall. By the way, is it just me or does everyone else hate those tip reminders everywhere you swipe your Amex? They start at ten percent (lowest) and go all the way up to twenty five percent? Crazy.
Thanks for the lessie a few weeks back, Scott! Just had a rippa of a week stateside. My last glory on the Big Tour - crikey, '97 in DC, Congressional, was it? Bullards! Rumor is, that '97 win helped some random lad win a small (unpaid) wager with some bloke crackin tinnys in the car, id nit? Bleedin five quid..but a win's a win! Five quid or no - it shows in the books as a "W"! Apparently I'm now based in Melbourne or Cairns, or thereabouts. Do miss the dews on the veld and the vaal.

Scott, come the final days of Spring and we've snuggled in to a corner of heaven: Rodrigo's Catalina guest cottage! Such a paradise. Did you know there's a gardenette just outside our enclosed entryway where LarLar spends most of the morning - and I mean at the break of day - potting, primping and pruning his prized stand of Kumquats?! Oh, he'll spend quite a-while outside, on all fours, almost sunk in the soil! His clothes DO get very dirty, but amazingly his hands are always clean! Gardener's secret?!! And as I notice him begin to..dwell, I'll softly blow the wind chimes and he'll come to, wrap the garden’s vulnerables secure with a fresh bedsheet and satin ribbon bow, stagger in, and just plop for a quick nappy on the rather large metallic (coppery and zinky??) - framed bed. Wait, Zinky? Love the name! Don't tell anyone - but we’re naming our next show poodle Zinky! Anysway. Travel booklet already stamped for S Diego so will see you soon, Scott, avec le clubs du golf!
Seriously, guy. "Sonny", you just keep chasing those parking lot butterflies and dumpster raccoons. Hilarious. Scott, suffer the fools gladly - as you do. Anyway I may drop by soon as my 3/4 swing top (apex) is now maxing only at about 5/8ths or so. Trying some SilverSneaker stretches along with the Sustacal, with mixed results.

Hi Scott I know it's not a week yet but almost so I'll be there for pointers in like a couple of days. Tell all the guys there Eddie said Hi and I'll see them when I get there!
Hi Scott. I'm still waiting for my next lesson where I can get more pointers. it's been about two weeks so i guess i'll come in soon. i'll call and make a appointment. i saved the number on my phone and I i wont have to look it up again. Oh well I’ll see ya soon.
Thanks Scott. Wow it was a great lesson. I can't wait to do it again. I guess first I should try out all the pointers you gave me. Then I'll come back for more pointers. Thanks Scott!
Saw Scott last month, but an unexpected mission took me out of country - for a while. But I remember during those sessions with Scott, my swing was close. Real close. So close I could feel it. Before my swing thoughts were lies, deceiving, defeating me. But after those sessions it was as if my swing faults were finally being sucked out of the routine, and all the self-defeating, misguided notions, habits, and the lies..the stench of those lies..were cut away, to be lost forever, downriver, flowing off into the dark heart of..I guess you'd call it the jungle.
Whatever my swing is to become, it isn't ever going to be the way it was.
Terrific! Thank you Scott, I learned so much!
Scott this is Sonny, I offer you greetings but in the interest of time I shall dispense with the usual accolades. Some tapioca went down the wrong pipe, and my intelligent assist module (Bert) sprang into action - but in the ensuing melee my metal bedpan violently met the base of my newly implanted NeurOmni-Link, the stitches of which had not fully healed. Details later on how it got there. I'd like to offer the following assistance: Should the orbital path of Dr. Adendayo's pod be made available to me, I would be more than capable of accessing and directing the remote re-engagement of the vehicle's external thrusters. However at this time I would not be able to provide reentry and landing calculations, which I assume involve propulsive deceleration. Perhaps the latter will be possible once the implant has been re-assessed and determined by the team to be fully functional.
Highly recommend Scott.
Scott has a particular set of skills, skills he has acquired over a lengthy career. If you have a flaw in your swing, he will find it. Of that. You can be certain.
Thanks Scott E. the lesson was great. Hey, if were up to me I'd give everyone there a raise - as long as it didn't exceed the rate of inflation. Speaking of which, my golf scores! Seriously, I'm not sure if I'm even around. Of golf! A round of golf!!
Scott, one can only imagine the anguish of poor Dr. Adendayo! Brad, myself, Larry, Jim and a prickle of our Daring Dive Darlings met last evening on our rooftop, newly purchased telescopes arranged in a circle (oh, my!), desperately searching the night sky for any sign of Dr. Adedayo!! I must say, Scott, the Glühwein was indeed flowing and after 20 minutes I was as blind as a fruitbat! But before I passed out I do recall hearing Larry and Jim pleading the troupe to promise to diligently monitor their Yahoo and AOL news for any breaking Ivory Coast Space Program alerts! By merciful coincidence Brad and I have somehow found our way onto Mr. Takare's email list and have donated generously to the Recovery Mission Trust! Scott, as always thank YOU, keep your eyes peeled to the heavens, and pray for dear Dr. Adendayo!
Scott, thanks for the session and calibration of my launch monitor. And again, apologize on behalf of us serious folk for the behavior of a few jokesters who continue to get their kicks using this platform. The remote to my All-Terrain Zip Navi-caddy has more brainpower than these subadult bozii.

Scott thank you for the terrific lesson. My practice sessions are much more well-rounded and productive! Highly recommend this instructor.
To thank you Scott as my golf teacher! I am from Cote d'Ivoire, I am an Army major in full service to my country and rarely have time to play this fantastic game. I learnt the game from my friend in university, Dr. Adedayo, who by the way is the first African space pioneer! It however saddens me to say my dear friend Dr. Adedayo, who is on a joint most secret mission with the USSR formerly, remains, by egregious technical mistake, in orbit! Oh, to bring him back would confer such happiness and pride upon our land and his family as well! But this will demand the swift gathering of sufficient funds to match the large Soviet rescue account already held in a secure Bank Trust, and then to be able acquire the services of a space retrieval company for success in this rescue matter. I digress from praise of Scott, please accept my apology. Thank you Scott for the golf instruction, and great blessings to all mankind from Dr. Adedayo!
Just a thank you to Scott and a great lesson. After our session I asked Scott how he liked working at Golftec, and he replied it was great to work at Golftec, and also was very complimentary of the company, and its culture. I said "Scott, you should be in Golftec Corporate"! He grinned, and said he was just happy to be part of the Golftec team, contributing in any way that he could. A genuine and humble individual, as well as a fantastic teacher. Will definitely recommend others to Scott - and to Golftec!

Thanks Scott! Really appreciated the second golf lesson. Just a beginner, love the game! Currently a medium (3rd-generation, walk-ins welcome!) In a previous life I was an academic of sorts, a "student of the mind", and I must say your teaching techniques really impress. Will my golf swing keep improving? With Scott.."Outlook Good!"

Great lesson, thanks to Scott! I read somewhere a while ago in an article by Notah Begay, that in a pro's mindset, you 'drive for show' and 'putt for dough'. In fact after our lesson I asked Scott what he thought, and he paused for a moment. "Yes, he said, "but you also must consider that on some course designs, particularly US Open layouts, it can be argued that you drive for both show, AND dough." That gave me something to think about, and I then found myself fondly reflecting back on an early 90s TV soap set against a golf course - I can't recall which - but one of the characters "Kay" was obviously secretly in love with her co-worker "Kevin". Sadly however, they came from two different worlds, which destiny left unconnected, and her unrequited feelings were thus presumably left to pool with each passing year..
Thanks again Scott. Highly recommend.
Oh, my!! Scott, so so much to catch up on, so I'll jump right in! Officially in recovery mode after the latest Bahaman Bacchanal!! Which islet? Langerhans, for all I know!! It's been such a wild, wild season..details fast fading, but I do vividly recall being amongst a group of revelers slipping quickly into savages, all to the pulsating beats from DJ Beatmaster David "The Kronic Kid" Solomon! Now, how you can be the CEO of a major investment bank AND pull of all that hipster cred, it boggles the mind! But Scott, next imagine if you can our own Larry, full toga, being tossed from Winklevoss to Winklevoss in a carnal 'menage-a-dance' let's say, oh, my!! And there was Jim, full recline, serving belly button shots at the "sandbar" with Kyle Deschanel, aka Mssr. 'Faux Rothschild', AND Pete Davidson!! Isn't that rascal just about everywhere??!! And meanwhile, anchored just off the cove sat Kissinger's yacht, whose tender was the busiest of little bees, ferrying half-naked luminaria to and fro..I swear I spotted a Baldwin, and maybe even (hand to God) a Balsam! And sprinkled all over were gaggles of baby-faced non-indicted Alameda Research support staff..oh, Scott, what a Felliniesque Binge of the Senses to end the year!! Well, three days into Spa Recovery Week..and if can find any strength after, me promise we drop in for a quick lesson!!
Just fabulous! Scott is the best. Very knowledgeable, and great with beginners like myself. I couldn’t recommend him more!
Fantastic experience! Thanks to Scott E. and the team.
Hi Scot im in hosptial still my head not get hit in a wile. I like tv in my room and Bert my robot he my firend and we watch tv imy room. The people say myold doctor not comig back the cant find him still. it ovbious that guy Disantis wering lifts in his cowboy boots.
Thank you Scott, I learned so much! My bff Amber and Tif recommended you! I personally believe that more US Americans should know about your golf teaching and others and like such as in the California area, or some people out there who don’t have golf and you can help them and have a brighter future in golf!
Great lesson! Thank you Scott.
Bonjour Scottt! So sor-sor to miss our lesson, but on a whim we jumped a puddle hopper to Pareee late September to catch the Fall premieres, at all of the houses! Bedbugs!! In Paris?? Bodies in shock, can barely move! Poor LarLar was attacked mercilessly, NO quarter spared..details hardly suitable for a golf forum.. But somehow I convinced two Garcons d'Affaires at the desk to deliver a specialized calamine pellet-ed bidet, and to wheel us to the lobby (as needed) for our lux-bus excursions! Not much in this crazy chaos lifts LarLar's spirits more - than his seat on the catwalk!
By the by, missed the train to Rome and luckily were spared the Ryder carnage, mon Dieu. But I know Zach will re-emerge strong: David Toms, Bob Estes, Steve Flesch and Jeff Maggert strong!! Hello, calling Mount Rushmore, may I speak to your chiseler?!! Scott, you are a fantastic teacher and we recommend you to everyone!
Coach Kentera here. Big thanks to Scott. He’s a great teacher. doesn’t just give 100 percent, he’ll give you 110 percent We did some laps and s stretches before the session as you gotta prepare and be ready and get in focus. You don’t want to be some guy in middle age who used to have some game but now can’t even make nowheres near a full turn because of chronic back problems. And golf is about teamwork if you think about it, there’s no I in golf last time I checked. But you gotta put in the practice because winners never quit and quitters never win. That’s not just me talking, that’s Vince Lombardi. Maybe you heard of him? Thanks again Scott.
Hey Scott the dude! My cousin Clark said you were the shit and he’s right! Great lesson. And we found a great spot on your lot to park the hacienda hope you all don’t mind. Still looking for the sewer main connect- don’t worry as I learned to assemble maceraters at night school on my GI Bill. Anyway we just fired up the hibachi so come on over for some surprise meats and fresh homemade condiments. By the way I post dated the check a bit. Oh and I’m low on beer.
Thanks Scott - from our group at Boston Dynamics. In town for status checks on a series of IAMs (intelligent assist modules) we deployed a few months back at local hospitals and neuro rehab clinics. From the entire team we truly appreciate the golf instruction, or ‘tweaking’ of our asynchronous transaction barriers and thread block clusters, lol!!
Ciao, Bellas! Signing in live from Roma, proudly supporting Team USA, Ryder Cup crazy!! I do unfortunately have to report it is quickly becoming a gloomy march, with echoes of Bataan - but never, ever give in, Scottie, Rickie, Brooks and Xander!
Our boys apparently came down with the sniffles early on, which the Local Lads fully took advantage of..now, is that at all sporting?! But do take heart: Bradley did save a tiny bit of glitter, for Sunday Singles! And if hope does spring, where else - but in the Eternal City?! Oh, my!!
Thanks Scott, great session - my ex Sherry recommended you. As an infectious diseases specialist at a local clinic, I’d also like if I can to pass on a friendly PSA to all to get your flu shots and boosters and if possible have your well water tested.
#blankname
I like to play golf now. Thank you Scott.
Scott thank you. My aviation colleagues ST and WT were nice enough to recommend your services.
#bubbleheadedbleachblondes
Great lesson. Newly married, and my wife Sherry and I had a blast. Thank you Scott.
I intended to stop by for a lesson Scott but you were closed due to the extremely rare but all too predictable hurricane in the area which is further proof that continued inaction by world leaders who only offer empty promises and useless platitudes regarding climate change while at the same time relentlessly promoting policies of massive industrial expansion will only lead to further human suffering and eco systemic collapse.
How dare they.
Scott, great lesson. Glad I made the stop. Visiting from Maryland and this was a highlight. Highly recommend.
#bloopsingles
-and Scott if you or any of your associates would like to earn a little extra mowing my lawn - please contact my office. Afterwards we have cold Fresca.
This is to thank, I believe it was Scott (?) for the instruction. The experience was suitable in addressing fundamentals and we addressed various swing issues and so forth. If memory serves my wife Sherry enjoyed it as well. I would for all intents and purposes recommend him to others, who may be of the mind to find golf instruction in the area.
Scott, I see George got you up to speed about our little "dilemna" - but a breakthrough is on the horizon!! Currently in negotiations with the meanie boo boo bakery to replace LarLar's treasured Murano Cabriolet with a Vespa + matrimonial side saddle. Seems like only yesterday we were in balmy Palmy Beach, and oopsie-stumbled upon a Treasury auction - and there the Cabrio was, like an orphan puppy, looking for a loving home! Seized from some Boy Band manager's estate - Menudo I think. Well, when LarLar is determined, you just try to stop him! Bid easily won, and on the return trip he was lost in the clouds..behaving so luxurious! And Scott, keep this on the down low: we kept the bottles of clear nail gloss and hair bleach we found in the glove compartment..
Back to Earth..save a few of those lazy San Diego breezes for us, and see you in two shakes!
Hi Scott this mSonny im still at hopistal room and Bert my friend a robot. Ihope I play golf other time. We watch hawi 5-0 on tv in my room and I say bookem and Bert say danno My old doctor He was mad yell at me for not waring helmet my head for my head.in case i get a accdent. Now he missing they dont wehre he is. Bert say to me dont worry. I say bookem Bert say danno.
Aloha, Scott! About to descend upon your magnificent facility, tangled swing issues in tow, so batten down the hatches! Coordinating with our two Catalinistas - oh, my, you must have heard about J and L's legal tete-a-tete with their bakery, who REFUSED their anniversary cake design? The theme was a precious delight: a tiny Jim and Larry, gamboling about the world - the Eiffel, Pyramids, and Great Wall - in a tiny chiffon Murano Cabriolet! Apparently the objection wasn't (ahem) what you might expect, rather, it was to the Cabriolet! Brad and I read the brief, and I'm sorry, but I don't find it "..an horrific affront to acceptable and universally agreed-upon standards of automotive design.." and I most certainly don't see it as "..a brusque, artless dog whistle to the seediest, most lecherous elements of society.." !! So awful, so untrue! Jim reports that though Larry was inconsolable, he did find comfort in his freshly uncockled and re-mounted Davidsons! You know, Scott, I've seen the 'array', and just imagine if you will an entire wall covered with the dashing, inimitable mid-70's icon at his game show hostiest and Love Boat boatiest! Somewhere, Mr. Warhol is smiling..
Well, Scott, expect us all to arrive soon, until then, tootaloo!!
Thanks Scott for the 30 min primer on the Swing Catalyst to get those t.h. shear force numbers. Next time we’ll go over those mid-iron force and compression analytics we started on. As always you guys at Encinitas - peerless. And again, folks, can you show any restraint on the infantile entries? Reminiscent of PCR dude stealing my morning waves - it may seem like a good idea, but it's clown. It's not funny, it's not fun.
I'm just a simple lawyer by trade, and I must admit the golf swing often bewilders and confuses me. I don't know about 'swing planes' or 'widening your arc'. You could talk about 'narrowing your angle' and 'creating lag into impact', and I'd just give you a blank stare and nod as if I understood what you were saying all along. When I hear the thunderous crack of one of your latest high tech drivers hitting a ball, it frightens me - and I'll run to the nearest shrub for cover. And build a small fire, for warmth.
But there is one thing I do know: My game has improved in every way, and Scott E. is guilty..beyond a reasonable doubt..of being a terrific teacher!
Thank you Scott, golf teacher of facility Encinitas. To thank you for excellent instruction. My English is poor, excuse me please!
Thanks Scott. I appreciate you taking on golf teaching the differently sized and accommodating folk with severe weight disabilities. A few years back my twin brothers somewhat was celebrities what with their moped ridin in overalls and all. I was younger and housebound til I was 14 but proud carried the tradition on once the doctors said I could go out in the real air. People Magazine had a story all set but they did Baby Jessica instead. Well, look forward to more lessons and talkin up them I-talian race bikes.
Hi Scott still at the hostipal my friend Bert here taking care of e. Hes smart hes a robot and bring me jello with inside theres fruit orange and pear. Inside the jello. I dream about that stupid racoon and I got more golf balls and come to the range soon. There tv in my room too.
Ahoy Scott! Just minutes from docking in dreamy Catalina - just adore this tiny little retreat! It's where we met, in line, Avalon Theatre, "Prince of Tides"- how apropos, no?! So after we find our land legs and brunch, it's straight to Rodrigo's for a bit of restoration work on LarLar's cherished collection of John Davidson lithographs. Don't be alarmed - just a little minor cockling that needs expert flattening. And, prayers Rodrigo can find frames to match our new 'hue du boudoir' (we settled on Careless Whisper after weeks and weeks of bickering :(( )..I know, TMI alertI!! Anyhoo, Scott, our golf game is in a woeful state of silly stitches, so prepare for the thankless task of making sense of it all when we drop anchor in SD, hopefully velly soon:))!
#CirclegetstheSquare!!
Thanks Scott, my game is on the improve, scores getting better and better! Thanks to your mental visual of turning the "swing power knob" to a higher and higher level, gradually but surely with patience and practice, I think I'm getting closer to "The Spot"! But I'll keep increasing the intensity until I get to that true "explosive" power level that will effectively drench my competition! Lets go to "eleven"!!
After a long career ministering the ill, I finally can focus on three of my favorite things: Parading about in chrome and tailfin classics, golf, and mastering the ol' "88". Still struggling a bit with the Suite bergamasque - but thanks to Scott my handicap is no longer on life support! Great teacher, fully recommend.
#RalphKinerActivewear
Oh my! Scott, the game is in complete shambles, so we will be by asoon to sneak in a late Spring swing tweak!. Wait, did my tongue just do the samba!?! We might make the lesson a "fore"-some (Brad, you Devil!) with James and Lawrence- scuttlebutt is those two are scampering about the local coastal highways and bi-ways..B and I so enjoyed our time with them in Cancun, but I must tell you what made it unforgettable was Larry's new line of eco-friendly Travel Glitter! Just take a handful, wherever you may be, make a little wish, and fling it to the wind with abandon and flair! Don't you know later this summer Brad and I will be "dusting" the entire southern Italian coastline as we richochet from one sleepy hamlet to the next..sorry Trevi Fountain, no coins for you! Well, I must say Jim has quite the Etsy 'warrior' on his hands, and we have quite the golf swing 'warrior' in you. Sayounara, Scott san!
I second my colleague's review below. Great instruction makes all the difference. Twirl your clubs - don't throw them! Thank you Scott.
If you want the Tiger/Bubba "twirl", go see Scott. He'll have you puring your irons and spinning your sticks, pro tour style. Even your putter! But I don't recommend that as there tend to be trendslaves out there. And all you Furyk-ain "pant-hitchers"? You are with lesser pros. Go see the man. Scott E!!
My swing was really off; it would seemingly just bury me at times. Confidence level in my game? Zero. But Scott's vast ocean of golf knowledge and instruction was just what I needed. If you want testimony from a true Scott disciple, well, I am one! No more moping around the course, darkly and dourly playing in the shadow of others's game for me. Sometimes when you're up against it, you just have find someone like Scott who can give you the courage to look straight into the eyes of the confidence-sapping 'jackal', as they say, and reclaim your mojo! Thanks again Scott. Highly recommend his instruction.
I wish to correct my earlier review in which I erroneously chose only four stars to rate my experience with Scott's instruction. I had in fact fully intended to appropriate the full compliment of five stars, but in haste erred. With this new review I trust my misstep to be corrected to a five star review, and the earlier four star adjunctive be stricken, and not calculated into Scott's aggregate star rating.
Just would like to extend a thank you to Scott for assisting us in golfically meeting the moment. In preparing for the lesson mother and I donned our golf practice attire, she donning her women's golf shoes in the rental prior to arrival at the facility, and I donning my golf shoes upon arrival, after safely securing a parking space. We soon located Scott following brief inquiry, and after prayer he masterfully led us through a lesson. We had such a wonderful time learning. I must quickly admit we are beginners, and as one might expect there were hearty guffaws emitted on one or two occasions! Such a delight. Upon reflection, the only fly in the ointment was a persistent westerly wind that kept disturbing my golfing visor, and mother's mid-ankle golfing skirt. Thank you Scott. I submit without hesitation the highest recommendation of your services.
Terrific instruction. I learned a lot, and my game has really improved. Go see Scott, everybody!
Thanks.
Thanks for the great lessons, Scott. Actively using the new techniques - the guys at the club can't believe how good my game is!
I've had an affair with "the game" since I was 14 or 15, maybe even as young as 12 or 13. My swing was getting a little slinky, a little raw, so I went to Scott's 'golf lab'. Scott's help and his facilities were great, and suited me to a "T". Essential stop on your San Diego golf getaway. Can't wait to devour my golf pals back home, no mercy, lol!!
#meh
I'm an inner-city youth mentor and returned to Scott for a second lesson, as my game seemed to be going backwards - let's just say my golf beeper kept beeping! I basically needed to break my bad swing thoughts, which would always seem to burn me while I was 'up in them', mentally speaking - I know you hookers and slicers know how I feel! But Scott really 'put the rap down', (the kids say this is a good thing, lol!), and broke off some great tips in case I slipped, because when I slip, I really slip far! His method is very interactive - you can feel free to ask "like this?" and he'll say "no, like that" and demonstrate the correct method, which I found extremely effective. And if we veered off track, he would quickly get back to the lecture at hand.
A great teacher, thanks again Scott! Look forward to the next episode!

Despite the fact that I have absolute catagoric/inferential knowledge of the physics, mathematics and bio-mechanical modeling of the golf swing, I from time to time seek Scott's assistance. Recently I experienced negative feedback from a tutorial streamed with subject Delta Essential (not locale-specified other than UTC/GMT+10hrs). DE complained of a "clanky" sound when attempting mid-to-long iron shots. Scott ran a diagnostic of my A100 INT4 tensor core and removed the Faxon Embed ('BF1' fault) from a detachment node previously undetected in the DLRM data table. Thank you Scott! Highly recommend.
I'm an retired pro who got smart and went into the food biz - but whenever I need a quick
tune up, I'll drop by Scott's swing clinic. Highly recommend!

Hi I found a raccoon in the work medical waste dumper at work and chased it to the fire escape and it was fast and I fell and my head again but this time really hard. it made a sound SMACK really loud. Then it came back and scratched and chew my face more but they gave shots in my belly at the hospital nobody recognied me but they found my badge in the nest so I can stay for free Scott I'll hit more golf balls when the hospital says
A gift from God! Scott bless you and your knowledge that set me on the right path. No longer will my Sisters tease my slice, a.k.a. the "Cali" cutter! Simply ascendant. Great practice bunker, and the shop gave me an awesome pro cord re grip on the long irons.
Scott is a great teacher. He started me out with a little iron work on the mats, then we went over to the practice green. It was quite a ways away and Scott took kindly on this old vet's legs, so we took the courtesy cart. Wouldn't you know halfway there it sputtered to a dead stop. We popped up the fiberglass chassis and I immediately saw the problem was the mid 70-s era carb. Looked like a Tillotson, probably a 27 series, so I checked the choke plates. I thought they were metal, but Scott saw they were plastic because there was a stop catch at the end of the spring. He was right. Long story short we got that rusty little two stroke humming and made a bee-line for the practice bunker. Yikes-call the firing squad! Hope my new wife don't throw me out when she finds all the sand in my shorts! Love you, Ellie hon! And thank you Scott. Highly recommend.
Hey this is for Scott, thanks for the instruction. I recommend him to everybody no matter what kind of game you have.
As for some entries here, talking weird stuff and liking on NAMBLA cars or whatever - man, get a life.
Keep it to golf and the Encinitas facility.

Just a fantastic teacher. Scott got us going-we are absolute beginners! After our first lesson last week, we told Scott we were going straight out to the course. He suggested we wait a while-maybe after a series of fundamental lessons and a few weeks of range practice. I think Scott told us to be sure to put in at least a couple of weeks of practice, "at least four, maybe even five or six". I recall he had an odd, drained look when we told him we were going to make a Saturday tee-time at Pines and Trees, I think it's called. Where Tiger won the Open I think he might have been coming down with a bug of some kind. Scott, I hope you had your boosters!
Well, we did it! Such a lovely ocean view course. We would hit our tee ball, then maybe two or three more until we could see where it landed, take pictures
(for Dakota, Colt, Maverick and Scout - all in college now), then hop in the cart and just simply enjoy the scenery. Sometimes we'd find two or three different balls around our fairway that probably dropped out of another cart, so we picked them up and returned them to the clubhouse lost and found. All twelve of them! And the greens - simply beautiful. The other day we took a picture of one of the flags, with the beautiful clubhouse logo. And on one hole, my wife backed up the cart to get an even better picture (careful to stay ONLY on the edges of the green, but not the main part of the green, of course!), and a hang-glider suddenly appeared - from nowhere! Can you imagine?
It's just wonderful to be out there with the other golfers too, who must be enjoying the game as much as we do. Sometimes we heard loud yells and evenwhat Betty thought sounded like profanity from groups behind us-we couldn't quite make out all the words. Golf really brings out such a true passion - always a good thing if you ask us! Thanks again, Scott!
As record-holding champion of the prestigious TSRI golf tournament a few years back (F -3, seven shots clear), I can spot talent when it comes to appreciation and knowledge of the complexities of the golf swing. While Scott did finish some distance back in that tournament, he leveraged the lessons from that experience into a journey of discovery, culminating in a true mastery of the game's technical and mental dimensions. Scott's golf insights and sensibilities are at the same time both shocking, and revelatory - much like if one were to be unexpectedly presented with a 90's era wound core golf ball, somehow sliced in half, to reveal it's inner contents. Highly recommend his instruction, no matter your level of play.

Back on terra firma, and what a lovely break it was! And can you believe on the way from the airport, we passed a BEAUTIFUL champagne Murano Cabriolet!! LarLar teared up a little - he just loved our little rental, and insisted 'top down', for most of our jaunts! Both our phones? Filled to the brim with precious memento pics of the "three" of us: LarLar, myself, and the cabriolet! Like we always pinky-promise each other: "Give me panache..or watch me dash!" Scott, we'll drop in soon, for a long-overdue 'swing inspection' !!
Salutations all! Alas another workplace accident..head-to-boiler room steps 3, 5, 7 and 10 in rather aggressive succession (grade 3-4, moderate ICH, and oddly, a pervasive taste of Atacama lithium-infused saltwater). Recovery near full; spent on review of the Conrad Black-Buckley debates on le origines le mouvement neoconservatisme, with a delightful dash of Hitchens' truculent reproof of establishment theo-cons! And of course critical reflection on the state of my game - my Golf is not Great, lol! Thank, er, Heavens..for Scott! With his help, sucess, bien que ephemere!! Highly recommend.

Manny Benning was the dude! Point guard K State. Anyways if you wanna fizzae trimmed off your chunky short game go see Scott. Oorah!!
Listen up people looking for the golf what, the why. I got the who - my man Scott, who got my swing back on the good foot.. Now when I'm out there closing it down on my boys, I'm like Johnny Dupont or Benny Danvers or whoever was that guy out of Kansas who played ball for the Clippers back in the day - Strong to the hoop!
That's it. My man, Scott. Will put your alls game right - no lie.
Thank you, Scott! It was a wonderful lesson and I learned so much. I’m ready to play better golf!
Happety Gobbelty gobble! Oh, my, Brad and I have just put the wraps on our lovely extended excursion! The landscape, the history, the people..scrumptious, all! And if that wasn't enough we found a half-settee AND an old film-prop 'chair' (think Sleeper sofa..but it’s exact, dastardly diabolical opposite!) at a boot sale in a tiny village that didn't even make the map - both heading straight into le petit ante salon, when we get home! Larry, you will have to side-saddle the chair, or professional intervention may be required! Regretfully missed your ceremony - but we'll always have Cancun, you two, come the season's first fiendish chill! And Scott - you gently tickled our golf 'advenire' spot (rauch alert - time out for me lol!!) and sent us on our spirit of discovery, thank you again! Head down, left arm straight, a bouncy little flex in the knees..do I recall correctly, lol?! Oh my, I think I'm getting worked up to go another round!
Great teacher. Highly recommend Scott and the team.

Scott, just a quick update! Putting all your instruction to good use, and mashie-ing our niblicks like there's no tomorrow! So excited to be part of the brute, bustle and brawn of Braemar. Well, the season ended like a bagpipe's last sad wheeze and now its just us, scampering about the wondrous ancient byways in our rented Murano Cabriolet. Swarmed and nearly swallowed by hoards of sheep, grazing the roads - once triggering an 'episode' just outside P’Lochry - but LarLar but extracted revenge at our Queensview picnic: mutton pate, on brioche! Then, a quick change into matching kilts, vows renewed performing a (pokito gassy) Flatley-inspired duet we perfected on the choo-choo..hope to make it to SD soon!

Hi Sonny here. This is for Scott he's a good teacher for golf and on the same day I chased a butler fly at the parking lot.
I had another accident at work and hit my head. Oh well.
Update on my progress with the "wrist cock" set work at 3/4, or my 'top'. Well, I've now found this insane groove - thanks to Scott - which has effectively knocked at least .5 off the handicap, so we're floating near scratch. Awesome. Recommed this guy to anyone. And folks, let's keep the comments to golf, Scott and his group @GTEncinitas-some of you are veering askance just a bit.

Scott E. is great, need I say more? Now we are going to see if his teaching skills translate to overseas courses, lol! Of course they will, silly gooses! Flew in yesterday, detoured to Lausanne to see a nares guy for LarLar's slight asymetry (it has really helped his breathing, and my concentration - my Happy almost 70th to him!) Currently on the romantic rail route northbound to
the magnificent heaths, moors, gnoics and glens of rugged Scotland! And with Fosse Fervor brushing up on our B'heart quotes and brogue; ignoring looks from the stuffies in our dining car..🎭🐩🥂
Just another thank you to Scott. He has so inspired our love of the game that Brad and I have traveled to storied St. Andrews to root on Hideki in the Championship! Oh, he can do it! I even threw caution to the wind, walked into William Hill, and placed a tiny wager on Mr. Matsuyama! Now don't you tell Brad! But this is such a lovely venue, and the history seeps right down to your bones. And if I'm not mistaken Jim and Larry are on the continent, close behind? See you two, if not this weekend, then at the Highland (Fun and) Games?!
Thanks Scott.
I saw Scott because I had issues with coming over the top. I had a bit of a stumble recently, injured my hip. It felt like being kicked by a horse! Tooth extraction is less painful. Anyway my hero was Jack. Assume other golfers of my generation feel the same?! And, Al Geiberger (Mr. 59!), a master of the short game. If I recall, one of Al's tips was picking up tissues around the apartment just with the club face of a wedge, to teach feel, coordination. But I needed my own pro, and found Scott. I had to give up my old golf coach, but I gained both a coach and a mentor in Scott. Before I started with Scott I'd rate my golf enthusiasm at a one or two, and my golf skills at a three or four - like a pitch that wouldn't get anywhere near home plate! But now I rate my enthusiasm at a nine, and my skills at a solid seven or eight. And it is great to have a video so I can pull up a stool, and study the new swing on my home entertainment system. Thanks Scott!

Greetings all. This is to give a shout-out to one Scott E. at the Encinitas locale. Now. If you want someone with golf knowledge that will resonate with your intuition and things of this nature, I would hesitate not one iota in seeking his employ. In fact the entire teaching facility where Scott masterfully plies his trade is like a mother ship waiting to transport you to a new golf awareness and enlightenment. I paid fairly for the hour, and wasn't sold any worthless advice or trinkets - just genuine advice and instruction. Thanks to him, my game has entered a new dimension. Oh - I'm a beginner, but was inspired by the book by Michelle Kwan (olympian and new golfer), but don't wish to get on a tangent and wander off topic. Thank you, brother Scott!
Definitely recommend Scott. He really is a good teacher and made a great impression on my game. Unlike other golf instructors I went to, who would patch some part of my swing, the fix would fade and be gone - way too soon. My slice would return, and it got to the point where I thought my home club would ban me! My game really turned me into an old grouch. Oh, there'd be times when the good swing would return but my sessions with Scott yielded solid, lasting fundamentals. No more rolling the dice! By the way I brought in my grandfather's old busted hickory shafted clubs, and club techs Dick or Reese (pardon if names wrong) doctored them and they are near perfect. Great facilities, and thanks to all!
Recently my primary care physician, who is terrific by the way gave the ok for me to play golf again. I needed a kind, patient golf tutor and I found Scott online. Such a lovely and wonderful young man. Scott and and Dr Schlofmitz, two of my favorite!
Thanks Scott. Great fun with the lessons and I learned a lot. I don't know about some of these reviews on here! Sounds like the last guy ‘jumped the shark’ with that effort. Anyway I highly recommend Scott.
Jon H.
Circling back-Scott gave us a lesson a little while back and I wanted to again thank to him. Great teacher, everyone. He'll set you straight. Well, so to speak!
(PS to "George" - we did meet in the warm waters of a certain sunsplashed latitude! Oh those endless mimosa sunsets..btw those neoprene chaps (with the darling brocade and sequin inlay?) Left abso nada to the imagination and LarLar loved them! Now don't think you can just throw around that Sulu money. He my boo.)
Thanks Scott. You helped my game, which was, well, a joke. Man, I'm telling you the truth. Scott was able to fix quite a few swing issues, so no longer
do I hear giggles and chuckles from the 'nut gallery'- my golf buddies, bunch of comedians! I read about the other guy on this review page getting plugs for his golf boat- seems like I needed constant plugs too, and I mean seems almost every second I needed a plug of some kind - to get my game where it is now. My distances have improved, but I'm always wanting more from 'the Boss', you know! But here's the bottom line: I don't feel anymore like such a hack. Stand up to your golf demons, everybody! And call Scott!
Howdy partners out there. Just givin a Texas shout-out to Scott. He's good stock and turns out he's from 'fly over' country like myself - and mighty good at golf and you all should give him a call. I did and got right through. There's everything there at the range you all would want to practice your game if you need special assistance, or if you are normal size and weight like myself. Well, really looking ahead to getting more playin' time and next trip to the area I reckon I'll bring the wife and kids along. Thanks and adios for now.

I’m hoping to get a lesson with Scott after waiting what has seemed like a very long time. I guess he’s popular but that’s besides the point. I’m guessing this is the best way to wait and get to see him. I heard he works with special needs like the diver who I guess his partner wrote in from some retirement community. Anyway I called Scott's number but couldn’t get through. On Twitter someone said to try signing up here before 5 a.m. which I did and they would contact me which they didn't. I don't blame Scott or his company but I blame the person on Twitter for that inaccurate information. Another person on Twitter who said they also need a ramp and auto-tee and specialized restroom facilities and said to try here and if I couldn't get Scott and also there's female instructors Diana or Kelly that are hands-on teachers. Which would be fine because that's probably the best way to learn. Anyway I'll keep trying and have to remember to cancel my alarm which I set for 4 a.m. if you do contact me. For the time being, so long.
ps. If you contact me today or tomorrow please remind me to cancel my alarm so I can set it back to 8:25 a.m.

I used to consider myself a pretty good driver – my go to club – but lately when every shot you hit is a block, it’s no party. I was trying self-fixes, but always came up short, became easily frustrated, temperamental, really flying off the handle. I should have realized I was definitely not qualified for the job.
Thankfully I found Scott and he effectively deconstructed and then rebuilt my entire swing. With the visual playback aids we addressed problem spots, and basically plugged most if not all of the holes in my sinking ‘golf boat’! We discussed isometric home training modes – including using some hose I nailed against the wall – the flexible kind- for exercises that allow for max upper and mid-line stretch, and muscle group isolation/strengthening. Now I’m maxing flex, torque and lower body stabilization. My turn is complete and most importantly, my release is full.
Great facility- the sessions were very informative but really it was all about meeting the guys, and meeting the girls there. All terrific. Highly recommended.
Great instruction. And Scott reminds you, most importantly, to have fun with the game. Absolutely recommend

Fantastic teacher. Thank you Scott. I’ve been a golfer since I was a kid but my swing speed had gotten noticeably slow as an adult and frankly it was making me crazy! I desperately needed someone to help me ‘turn on the power’. With the new drills and techniques Scott taught me, I now don’t have to keep begging and begging for distance, especially off the tee. I really is remarkable. Outside of swing instruction we got to talking a little about course etiquette particularly around the greens. One of my peeves is unkempt greens and bunkers. Uggh!! I mentioned that at our home course each green has a small sign, with a “Mr Divot” emoji-type character that asks “somebody repair me”. And in each bunker we placed a small “somebody rake me” sign. It does actually work, everybody! Spread the word! Thanks again, Scott.
While in town last year for ComiCon my husband Brad and I decided to take a golfing lesson with Scott. He is terrific! I must tell you, it was great fun and although my game is in the proverbial brambles, as they say, I had quite the time! I learned so much and he has the patience of a saint. Thank you Scott!
By the way, this is terribly indulgent and please do forgive me but I noticed an earlier review on this very site from “JD and Larry”- It couldn’t possibly be, but I do believe we met them on a Pride Dive in Bimini! By precious coincidence our dive troupe included a devilishly mustachioed gentleman who went by the moniker “three-tank Larry” - heavens it must be you! What a small world! If perchance you two are reading this perhaps we’ll rendezvous, same island venue, at the Mangrove Trails gala and revue this year?!

Scott, great sessions. We addressed just about everything: Was having trouble with my rhythm. We fixed the herky-jerky backswing. Couldn’t figure out the distance of my special purpose hybrids. Now I get 225-250 big ones, easy out of the 4 wood thanks to the swing fix and shaft change. And around the greens I’m gradually learning to get optimal ‘grab’ instead of too much roll.
Serious thanks, your help has been a feather in my cap. I’ll try to make more Sundays full practice days (that is if the wife doesn’t drag me to church!)

I’m a maintenance engineer at a local healthcare facility. While in recovery (on the job TBI), I watched a fair amount of golf and became indelibly hooked. Never before played the game, but was determined to give it a go.
Found a great teacher in Scott. After a few Socratic-style sessions and more than a modicum of practice, he advised on the equipment to best compliment my skill set. I did insist on keeping my old Norman-era Cobra driver, which I discovered a while back in a bin at a yard sale, and was using to prop up the tomato plant. I can now really smack that club! Great distance, albeit more roll than carry - such as it is!
Echoing the sentiments of the preceding reviews, and fully recommending this instructor. Kudos Scott.
Highest recommendation. Scott’s insights and approach to teaching the game are no less equal to a master’s brushstroke. Combining an impressive fund of technical knowledge with the lost art of instruction, Scott methodically began repair on the random patchwork of disconnected gyrations, uncontrolled spasms and fantastical superstitions that sifted together into the sludge that described my swing.
Under his direction I now have a basic understanding of solid fundamentals. His style is not that of a stern taskmaster, rather he and his assistant (Bob?) both bouy your confidence with a tailored approach, allowing you to fully comprehend the essentials and develop your game at your own pace. And, of course, practice and more practice!
In truth I need to devote more time to the range, and in this regard I can’t help but reflect on my dear colleague and friend Father Heinrich “Hank” Thadd, with whom I’d periodically toss in a quick 9, or “neun”, as he’d say in his native German. On the occasion of a particularly well-struck ball, we’d drink in the splendor, and silently muse an age-old truth: “Only first, toil the hours in the lonely tower of practice..”
Plurimus gratiae magister!
(many thanks teacher!)
Thank you Scott. Great coach. My swing was a little rusty so while visiting family on vacation my wife Ellen treated me to a lesson. Found Scott - he took a good look at the plight that was my swing, and we got to work. On my whole game really-putting, chipping, etc. Around the green I was a serial chunker, but wScott’s help, my short game now has a little of the ol’ “pro varnish”. Scott was very knowledgeable and professional.

We’re 2nd yr UK cheer
besties, and visited San Diego -AWESOMENESS!! - on break. Decided at hotel bar 2d2bd and take golfing lessons, and we found Scott! He was great, the absolute best. We are definitely beginners with no clue :):):) but he was up to the challenge!! Such a gentleman he always smiled and gave good tips even when we dropped the club and it went into the range. He told us not to run after it and probably saved our lives!! And after the lesson he and the guys walked us to our Uber, thanks guys!!
Specially Scott, aka Tif and Amby’s Golf-God!!!
xxoo A&T xxoo 💕💕

Great teacher, great facilities. Scott is tops. I bumped into him in the returns line at Best Buy of all places just after Super Bowl. Talked Brady and golf and before you know it I decide to try a few lessons. Best thing I ever did as I'm a weekend golfer. It's amazing when your swing is up on video and their analyzer system to see where things are going and where they should be. Plus the advice on changes in your equipment that customs to your own swing. Thanks again Scott.
My partner Larry was in desperate need of major swing changes. Particularly on his take-away, which was, well..unusual. Scott did a masterful job-Larry referred me to him. In fact, we took lessons together! Scott was absolutely fantastic, and was able to work around Larry's condition (submersion narcolepsy-a rare affliction that targets older divers). Scott's depth of knowledge, patience and practicing tips were invaluable. I recommend him highly.
ps- I have to share this!
-we live in a retirement community, with an executive course. Now, with a renewed confidence in our game, Larry and I will even break out the glow balls for a round or two of night golf – just one of our delicious little diversions (although the condo Board can be a little..sassy about it, lol!) – but all in fun. Scott, thanks again. It's all about fun, right?! Well, now golf is fun again!

Highest recommendation. I am a very low-handicap part-time player who had an issue with my set position at the top (it was ugly, folks!). With Scott's tutelage, I was able to manage and maintain a proper planar apex wrist-cock, enabling a seamless, repeatable and efficient power transition into strike position. In fact, at a recent business event in Tokyo (I did rather well-modesty doesn't permit!), the club pro there -old friend- complimented my newest swing dynamic: "kokku utsukushi", which loosely means "beautiful set-position" !! Ari gatogozaimashita , Scott san!
Era I highly recommend era this instructor to era craft your swing to era lower your era scores
Scott Engelland was my coach and I highly recommend him. He is very in tune with what you would like to accomplish and helps to get you there. I chose Golftec over traditional lessons simply because of the technology it offers. There is no better feedback than the practice time you get each week while seeing your swing on camera. You can draw all the lines you need (ie- swing plane) so you have constant feedback. If you like using training aids, they have every one you could ever think of at your disposal. In addition to the technology and training tools, Scott is extremely knowledgeable about the golf swing and always has multiple feelings or drills for you try until you get something right. All of these aspects tied together create a very good chance for you to improve your swing.
Wow! Great session. Scott is the true Sultan of Swing. End of story.
